About me
My name is Alex Holley and I am currently finishing up with my final term of my Master's program in Sports Management at Tiffin University. I am originally from South West Michigan where I went to high school at Vicksburg High School. After graduating in 2013, I continued my baseball career at Kellogg Community College. I was fortunate to be a part of the 2015 conference and regional championship team while finishing 5th at the Junior College World Series. After receiving my Associates degree from Kellogg, I continued my academic and athletic career at Spring Arbor University where I finished up my college baseball career as well as receiving my Bachelor's degree in Health & Exercise Science.
After my college career, I began coaching at Next Level Performance where I served as a strength and conditioning coach. There, I coached many athletes, including both men's and women's sports, from middle school to high school as well as collegiate athletes and two professional athletes. After two years with Next Level Performance, I was asked to assist with Portage Central's Varsity Baseball team in 2018 while I continued to work at Next Level Performance. In 2019, I was then asked to be an assistant coach at Kellogg Community College with the baseball team. There, I worked with the infielders and I also served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the baseball team as well as the women's soccer team.
In 2020, I accepted a position at Tiffin University where I am currently in my career. I accepted the position as the Graduate Assistant, Strength & Conditioning Coach for the baseball team here at Tiffin University. Throughout time and circumstances, I was asked to join the staff and become an Assistant Baseball Coach here at Tiffin. I currently work with the infielders and assist with the offense. As time carried on, I was eventually asked to teach the Advanced Strength & Conditioning Lab Course at the University.

FUTURE PROFESSIONAL GOALS
My future professional goals as an individual are to continue to perform at a high level as a baseball / strength & conditioning coach. Currently, I do not have aspirations to chase one over the other but it is my goal to continue to impact student athletes to become the best person they can be both on the playing field and beyond the game of baseball.
I would love the opportunity to continue to compete for championships here at TU. There are also aspirations to climb the ranks and potentially see myself in a new position within the game of baseball. |
